Switzerland is not very well-established as a birthplace of big shots in international trance DJ-Business, except for one icon with magic fingers, lots of passion and tons of skills: Dave202. Dave202 launched his career in the middle of the nineties, when he got his first bookings at well known clubs like OXA (Zurich, Switzerland). But pretty soon he found out, that his way to play trance- and hard trance-music was not only able to fascinate and astonish his fellow countrymen, but also the international trance community and fanatics all over the world. From 2000 until now (2006), Dave202 played in famous clubs around the globe: Matrixx (The Netherlands), Vellfare (Tokio, Japan), Tunnel Club (Hamburg, Germany), Métropole (Paris, France), Cellophane (Rimini, Italy), Echoes (Riccione, Italy), Tower Club (Austria) and Heineken Music Hall (Amsterdam, The Netherlands). But he never forgot, where hes coming from: He still has his periodical gigs at the OXA and Mad-Club in Lausanne (Switzerland) and he still fills every Swiss dancefloor, no matter how big it is. But this is no surprise at all; Dave202 is not only a talented DJ, but also a very experienced and chartbreaking producer: over the years he released many groundbreaking albums like his masterpiece The Black Album and the Streetparade-Compilation (which reached platinum in Switzerland). Italien-rooted Dave202 has made his way from one of the leading Swiss trance-DJs to a well known and well reputed international act. Hes a globetrotter on a mission: Earlier in 2006 he visited several clubs and festivals in Australia, in summer he is on China-, Brasil- and New Zealand-tour no need to say, that he only plays at the best clubs and events. But for all his success he still remained the same artist who plays his records always for his guests and never for himself, like every other topshot in the international trance-scene, such as Fred Baker, Yves DeRuyter, Tiësto & Crew or japanese superstar Yoji Biomehanika, who is a close friend of his.
